The calculation is simple: more electriccars need more chargingpoints. And they should not only provide short charging times, but also operate quietly - especially if they are set up in residential areas. Who wants a constant humming in the neighbourhood? One possibility is to encapsulate the chargingstation against internal noise. But then the electrotechnical components such as the transformer or choke have to be cooled because they produce a lot of heat loss. ISMET has now found the solution and developed transformers and chokes with a special core that makes the charging station whisper. This way the housing can remain mechanically inconspicuous - and still make everyone happy!
