Plant engineering
Chemical systems, industrial furnaces, smelting furnaces, annealing furnaces and galvanic systems require a stable and powerful voltage supply. In many applications, high current levels must be provided reliably. ISMET designs one-phase and three-phase high-current transformers with rated outputs of up to 630 kVA and output voltages of up to 15 kV in protection ratings of up to IP54. The cooling is provided by air in the version with forged winding or with a tape winding. It is also available with direct or indirect water cooling.
ISMET builds high-voltage transformers for ionisation systems with rated outputs of up to 600 kVA for input voltages of up to 20 kV and output voltages of up to 15 kV. We wind customer-specific air core coils for coating machines and magnetisation plants according to drawings with a diameter of up to 1,800 mm and a total weight of two tons. The air-core coils attuned to the coating process are wound on high-precision stainless steel coil elements and delivered with a high-performance isolation system and connections in the terminal box. Current-limiting chokes from ISMET for plant engineering can be designed with up to isolation class H and with a bath, vacuum or spray impregnation. We also deliver a wide range of designs of cast resin transformers, AC transformers and filter circuit chokes for reactive power compensation for plant engineering.
