Magnetic voltage stabilisers

Magnetic one-phase voltage stabilisers have input and output windings on one core, but they are well-isolated from each other by a shunt with a working air gap. They can accept various magnetic flows as a result. The resulting inductivity combines with a capacitor to form a resonance circuit. The result of the arising interdependencies is a stable output voltage.

Electronic voltage stabilisers

Electronic three-phase voltage stabilisers offer very swift and flexible voltage stabilisation. An electronic output regulator feeds a voltage to the primary winding of a transformer in boost and buck connection, which can be can be either in or out of phase. The secondary winding is connected between input voltage and load. As a result, the output regulator can add or subtract voltage from the current supply.

Electromechanical voltage stabilisers

Three-phase electromechanical voltage stabilisers regulate the voltage by means of an internal variable transformer in the form of a variable toroidal transformer with sliding contacts adjusted by electric motor. With its variable output voltage, the variable transformer compensates for fluctuations in the input AC voltage.
