We build one-phase and three-phase high-current transformers with rated outputs of up to 630 kVA and output currents of up to 15 kA in protection ratings of up to IP54. The cooling is provided by air. Versions with forged winding or tape winding are available. Direct or indirect water cooling is also an option.
Tailor-made ISMET solution
The three-phase dry transformer of the type DAW achieves an output of 950 kVA and a secondary voltage of 50 V at 11,000 A. The DAW high-current transformer has a forged winding for transmission of ultra-high current. Because the winding is forged, no additional cooling is necessary. The high-current transformer with customer-specific impregnation weighs 2.3 t.
