ISMET provides a comprehensive offering of customer-specific chokes up to a total choke weight of 6 t, air-cooled and force-ventilated or with direct/indirect water cooling. As compensation for capacitive reactive power in the mains, ISMET provides chokes which are specially designed for the application.
Tailor-made ISMET solution
Our customer-specific solution is a one-phase iron-core choke with 16.7 Hz and 15 kV 700 kVAr. The choke with an iron core is equipped with direct water cooling for reactive current compensation in a rail power system.
