ESBD-K

Three-phase starting current limiters

Starting current limiters are voltage-controlled devices. Their functioning is based on a time-delayed bridging of the incorporated damping resistor which is set ex works. The time-lag is also set ex works for the ESBD-K model (approx. 20 to 50 msec.). Starting current limiter in plastic casing with snap fixation for mounting rail TS 35.

From standard to custom-tailored: ISMET transformers

The word transformer comes from the Latin “transformare”, which means to reshape or convert. An input AC voltage applied to one of the windings is converted by the transformer into an output AC voltage that can be tapped at the other winding. The ratio of input to output voltage corresponds to the ratio of the windings of the two coils.

Transformers are used for example to convert voltage in power supply systems and in technical equipment, for signal transmission or for protection by electrical separation. ISMET offers transformers with a total weight of up to about ten tons and a power output of up to 5 MVA, voltages up to 36 kV and currents up to 14,000 A. The maximum possible IP rating is IP65.

The spectrum includes standard transformers in single-phase or three-phase versions and transformers for supplying medical facilities, as well as for controlling fans and halogen or LED lights. Custom transformer solutions are developed in accordance with the individual customer requirements.

ISMET manufactures all transformers in compliance with the relevant standards, using cost-optimised processes. At the same time, there is an increasing focus on saving energy and protecting the environment. The use of alternative materials in planning and production allows ISMET to offer its customers highly energy-efficient transformers that meet special requirements for reduced power losses and energy costs.
